Careers
Come build this with us.
Avdhara is a living education ecosystem for children aged 2 to 16, rooted in Bharatiya wisdom and developmental science. Here is what we are hiring for, and how we work.
One designer across everything we make. Social, campaigns, print, decks and the motion pieces that carry them. If it is seen by a parent, it will probably pass through your hands.
What you would do
Design across the full surface of the brand, from a single social post to a printed piece a family keeps
Take stills into motion for short films, title sequences and the small animations that make a page feel alive
Work inside the Avdhara design system and help extend it, rather than working around it
Turn a one line brief into a first draft without waiting to be told exactly what to draw
What we are hoping for
One to two years of design work, and a portfolio you can walk us through decision by decision
Comfort in both static and motion tools, for example Figma or Illustrator alongside After Effects
Real care about typography, spacing and restraint. Most of this work is calm rather than loud
An eye for Bharatiya visual language that reaches for something truer than the usual motifs

Video Editor
2 openings
ContentAhmedabadFull time0 to 2 years
Cut the films that explain Avdhara to a parent who has thirty seconds and a tired evening. Long form for those who want depth, short form for those who are still deciding.
What you would do
Edit long and short form video for YouTube, Instagram and the website
Own the whole pass: assembly, sound, colour, subtitles and export
Hold one consistent pace and look across everything that goes out
Keep footage and project files organised well enough that someone else could open the timeline tomorrow
What we are hoping for
Zero to two years editing. A reel that holds attention counts for more than the number of years
Fluency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut
A feel for pacing and for silence. The subject is unhurried childhood, so the cutting cannot be frantic
Willingness to take notes and re-cut without losing momentum or heart

Community and Parent Support
1 opening
CommunityAhmedabadFull time0 to 1 year
The first person a parent hears back from. You hold the conversations, the Circles and the questions that arrive late at night, and you carry what parents actually need back to the team.
What you would do
Answer parent questions across WhatsApp, email and social, warmly and accurately
Help run Parent Circles and keep them small, safe and unhurried
Bring the questions parents keep asking back to the team, so the product answers them properly
Keep community spaces free of judgment, unsolicited advice and sales pressure
What we are hoping for
Clear, confident English, spoken and written. This one is not flexible, because most of the work happens in writing
Zero to one year of experience. Temperament matters more than a track record for this role
The patience to meet a worried parent at nine in the evening and not rush them
Discretion with family details, held as a matter of course rather than policy
How We Work
Six things that are actually true.
The child is the user
Not the parent, not the metric. If something is good for engagement and bad for a seven year old, it does not ship.
Written before spoken
Ideas get written down and read before they get discussed. Slower to start, far faster to finish, and the quietest person still gets heard.
Small teams, whole problems
You own something end to end rather than a slice of it. Fewer handoffs, and a clear line between your work and a child it reaches.
Criticism of the work
Work here gets picked apart, and that is respect rather than a verdict on you. Children pay for anything sloppy.
Rest is part of the work
A tired team makes exactly the rushed decisions this product exists to avoid. Sustainable weeks are a design constraint.
Rooted, not nostalgic
Bharatiya wisdom is treated as a living practice with something to teach, not as decoration on a modern product.
How Hiring Works
Four steps, no silence.
01
A conversation
What you have built and what you would want to build here. No puzzles.
02
A piece of real work
A short, paid exercise from something we are genuinely working on. You keep it.
03
Meeting the team
Time with the people you would sit beside, and room to ask them anything.
04
A decision, with reasons
You hear back either way, with something useful about why.
