Try a Mandala Moment
We'll give you one small experience you can try together right now.
How old are they?
2 minutes · No test · Nothing to prepare
The Mandala Moment above is not a quiz, a test or an assessment. It hands you one small experience to try with your child right now, chosen for their age and for the kind of mood you are both in. Nothing about your child is measured, scored or stored. There is no account to create and nothing to prepare.
It exists because reading about development changes very little, and doing one thing together changes quite a lot. A single moment shows what living education means in practice: an ordinary activity, given a little structure, growing attention, language, thinking and connection at the same time. If it lands, the rest of this site will make sense.
Every child moves through the same seasons at their own pace, and the age bands are averages rather than deadlines. Each pathway page says what that season is really building, what tends to get in the way, and how to help at home without pressure.
Movement, play, language and the people closest to them. Readiness comes before letters and numbers.
Curiosity is the engine now. The love of learning is what needs protecting, not accelerating.
Curiosity either grows into confidence or disappears under pressure. Screens step back, focus steps in.
The reasoning mind wakes up. What it reasons about, and with whom, shapes the thinker your child becomes.
Capability turns toward responsibility. Attention and trust are rebuilt with a young person, not against them.
Purpose, authorship and leadership. A young person ready for any future, and ready to give something back.
A pathway that fits
Once you know the season, the pathway page becomes a map: the capacities in play at this age, the ordinary things that build them, and the questions other parents of the same age ask.
The Journal, by age
Every Journal article is filed by season, so you can read only what applies to your child now. Attention, screens, reading, friendships, festivals, and the guilt nobody talks about.
A conversation when you want one
Nothing here pushes you towards a sign-up. When you want to talk, Book A Call at the top of any page offers thirty minutes with a real person at a time you choose.
